40th BIRTHDAY PARTY

Please put the 9th November 2013 in your diary as we would like everyone to attend our 40^th birthday party being held in the gym starting at 2.00 p.m, (gymnasts to warm up at 1.30 p.m.)

The afternoon will consist of display routines by all the gymnasts, presentations of awards and a very short AGM. In the evening we will be holding a Quiz Night with a fish and chip supper.

What can you do to help? We would like to decorate the gym with 40^th birthday cards prepared by the gymnasts. The cards should be on A4 paper and handed into the gym on 2^nd November. You may remember we decorated the gym with various flags for our Olympic Fun Day and it looked lovely.

Detailed timings will be available a little closer to the event. However, we do need to know how many people will attend (so we can get the appropriate number of chairs in the gym!) also how many will attend the Quiz Night so we can order the fish and chips. An order form will be available shortly.

We will of course be applying for funding to help with this event and if any parents work for Barclays Bank, or other big corporations would it be possible to apply to them for funding or raffle prizes?

This is an important anniversary for the club and we are trying to contact as many ex-gymnasts as possible to come and join us so please do come along and see what everyone does in their gym sessions!!

Be prepared though, to get up and join in for one or two things!!

40^th BIRTHDAY PARTY

The first meeting for the group organising the 40^th Birthday Party will be held on Saturday 7^th September 2013 at 12.30 p.m. 

Please help us to get this party an event to be remembered. 

Lesley, Jennifer or Frances will be happy to take names of those interested in helping.  This will be a family event.

DISPLAY FOR LONDON FESTIVAL PRACTICE SESSIONS 

Practice sessions for this display routine will start on Saturday 7^th September 2013 at 2.30 p.m. until 5.00 p.m.

The above gymnasts should attend this weekly training session as there is very little time left before the Festival.  The registration fee for each gymnast is £15.00.

INSURANCE FOR 2013/14

British Gymnastics have forwarded details of insurance payments for gymnasts for the next gymnastic year. 

        Bronze members            £17.00
        Silver members              £41.00

In order to get the gymnasts insured by the 1^st October 2013 we would be happy to receive the insurance payments during September.
