Hi everyone
The gym will be OPEN throughout the summer holidays. Please let me know as soon as possible if you are away during July and August and the dates so I can make sure:
- we have adequate coverage of qualified coaches
- we can explore doing a Summer course which we have done in the past. One week 10am - 12 Monday to Friday - maybe week of 23rd August if enough interest but i need to book ahead with the school, so let me know
ALSO
There are two events coming up:
1. Carrying the Olympic torch around the gym and wishing our BG gymnasts good luck in Tokyo, this will be recorded and sent to BG for the gymnasts to see before they leave for the games.
2. I am TEAM GB as part of BE INSPIRED FESTIVAL OF SPORT to be held over the weekend of 14th and 15th August. We do not have a confirmed programme but we will arrange a session where gymnast, siblings, mums and dads, (aunts, uncles, grandparents) can come into the gym and take part in various activities. Once again let us know the following:
A. Can you take part
B. Can you volunteer to help
C. Do you have any ideas
D. Can you provide refreshment
We did a similar event for the 2012 Olympics games and it was a fantastic day.
